About Mark Dalpe

Mark Dalpe

I've been serious about photography since 1996 when I purchased my first SLR a Pentax K1000. In 2000 I enrolled in the full time photography program at Algonquin College in Ottawa. Graduated with Honors in 2001. I went Nikon (F100 w/AF 28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 D) in 2001, plus began a relationship with Sophie who would become my wife in 2004, busy year. I've usually had a side business ongoing in addition to my day job working in a camera store but now I mostly shoot for the joy of photography. I'm extremely knowledgeable about photographic technique and I am constantly refining and adding to that knowledge. Learning is one of my favorite activities and in photography there is always something new to learn.
