Ode to Marlene Dietrich by Milton H Green

Here is a shot I took as a tribute to one of my favorite photographs all time. The shot of Marlene Dietrich pulling up her stalking by Milton H Green has long been a favorite of mine and I had always wanted to do a modern take on the shot. A good friend of mine and fellow photog and part time model Carrie Mackenzie was more than happy to help me out by getting in front of the camera.
Taken during the summer of 2005 with my Pentax 6x7 and 75mm f/2.8 lens. Scanned into the computer using an epson scanner. Contrast adjusted higher (equivalent to printing the neg with a grade 4 or 4 1/2 filter) using Adobe Photoshop.
